Nina-Tuyen Tran is an environmental science software developer with a background in software development, data analysis, and neurobiology research. Nina is skilled in programming in R and Python to analyze biological data and JavaScript to develop user-friendly tools. Prior to joining Four Peaks, Nina gained hands-on experience in computational biology as a collaborator on a project that used machine learning techniques to map and construct a comprehensive database of genes expressed in glia in the adult C. elegans nervous system.
Nina graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and has completed a year-long full stack developer training program. Outside of programming, Nina enjoys biking, camping, and sometimes, doing a combination of both.
