Molly Steere has a diverse background in mechanical design and technical documentation and over 24 years of experience. She is a foundational member of the Four Peaks Hatchery Assessment team working on current and historical hatchery assessment and design support for tribal, state, and federal hatchery efforts. Molly provides technical support and design feedback on engineering and design documentation for hatchery assessments, fish bypass structures, and alternatives. She has had the opportunity to assess dozens of hatcheries across the U.S. to evaluate the condition of their infrastructure, assess their climate change vulnerability, conduct biological and environmental risk assessments, and identify solutions that maximize the use of existing infrastructure and ensure future production goals can be met.

Molly holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Central Washington University. She lives in Wenatchee with her husband and son, and tries to spend as much time as possible hiking, biking, skiing, or trying to capture the beauty of the outdoors in photos and sketches.
