Binglei Gong, MSC

Binglei Gong is an environmental scientist with more than 10 years of experience using modeling and data analysis tools to understand and answer complex environmental questions. Binglei specializes in modeling flow and transport of nutrients and contaminants in groundwater and surface water systems. She supports water resources and water quality solutions related to compliance with the Clean Water Act. She is also experienced in supporting remedial design and source management alternatives under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (Superfund). Binglei is fluent in several programming languages and geospatial software and is experienced in using a range of environmental models.

Binglei earned a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the State University of New York’s College of Environmental Science and Forestry and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Beijing Normal University. She lives in Amherst, Massachusetts, with her husband and their fluffy cat, Mooncake. She enjoys traveling, cooking, board games, and woodworking.
