Hatchery and Genetic Management Plans Update
Four Peaks scientists were selected to assist a publicly-owned utility with the development of their Hatchery and Genetic Management Plans (HGMPs) for Sockeye Salmon, steelhead, Chinook Salmon, and Coho Salmon associated with the facilities and related activities required under the project’s Federal Energy Regulatory Commission license. Work included addressing previous comments from the Fisheries and Habitat Committee on the sockeye salmon HGMP, creating a template for subsequent HGMPS, and preparing draft through final submittal of the remaining HGMPs.
